LOVING GOD AND
LOVING EACH OTHER

PLEASE READ THIS IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

FROM PERKINSVILLE COMMUNITY CHURCH

After many years of dedicated service, we announce that Pastor John Pflum is stepping down from his role in the pulpit due to health reasons. It is with mixed emotions that we bid farewell to John’s leadership in this capacity. While we will miss his guidance and wisdom from the pulpit, we take comfort knowing that John will continue to be an important part of our church family as a member of Perkinsville Community Church.

John’s ministry has touched countless lives over the years, and his dedication to the spiritual growth of our congregation has been a blessing. His commitment to our church has not only been seen in his sermons but in his pastoral care, his unwavering faith, and his love for each individual in our community.

As we look to the future, we are grateful for John’s ongoing presence among us and look forward to seeing him in the pews, continuing to be an integral part of our church family. Though his role in leadership may be changing, his legacy at Perkinsville will endure.

In the interim, we are pleased to announce that Pat Vance will be delivering the December sermons. We trust that his messages will inspire and guide us as we navigate this period of transition.

The Pastor-Parish Relations (PPR) Committee has already begun the important work of searching for a new pastor to fill John’s place. This is a significant task, and we ask for your prayers as we seek the right candidate who will continue to serve the church with the same passion and dedication that John has shown over the years.

We thank Pastor John for his faithful service and wish him peace and good health in this new chapter. Please join us in expressing your appreciation and support as we move forward in faith, together as a community.
